Head of Community & Strategic Initiatives
David leads Community & Strategic Initiatives at Inovexus, where he operates across investor growth, platform scale, and strategic execution. His role focuses on accelerating Inovexus toward a high-velocity investment platform by combining community activation, AI-driven automation, and operational systems.
He works across three core areas: scaling investor participation and reducing time-to-first investment, deploying automation and AI workflows across business units, and leading strategic growth initiatives including the Micro Partners programme. He also supports talent buildout and cross-functional execution as the platform expands.
Prior to Inovexus, David spent close to a decade in investment banking focused on Financial Institutions Group, Capital Markets, and Structured Finance across Sub-Saharan Africa, with client exposure across Europe and the United States. He also co-founded a WealthTech platform focused on expanding access to capital markets for everyday earners and the African diaspora, scaling the business to c.$1M ARR after raising $1.5M.
David holds MBAs from INSEAD and Quantic, completed executive education in FinTech at the University of Oxford, and earned his undergraduate degree from Covenant University.
Outside of work, he enjoys running, mountain biking, music, and hosting intimate live performances.
